Enchanting Summerour Studios Wedding | Michael + Herbrina

When the bride first contacted me about their summer Summerour Studio wedding in Atlanta, GA.  I was so thrilled to hear the details of what she was imagining for her big day. They were planning the most magical summer wedding with an intimate ceremony, tulip ceremony, jumping of the broom, and even a balloon send-off. They seemed like the sweetest people and to hear their long-distance love story was captivating. And I looked forward to photographing their wedding.

I began the early Saturday afternoon at the Westin Peachtree Place capturing details, of where the couple was getting ready, and it was so relaxed as the bride was surrounded by her bridesmaids.

Herbrina wore a custom-made Bridal by Lori dress made by Lazaro and Micheal wore a custom blue suit and they looked so amazing.

The ceremony

This Summer Studios wedding was a stunning intimate ceremony. They had personal vows they wrote themselves, which was just magical. And the couple elected to also incorporate a tulip ceremony and jumping of the broom After the ceremony the couple danced back down the aisle together, and then the celebrations began.

The reception: It was a gloomy rainy day during their Summerour studio wedding, which wasn’t in the plans but the couple didn’t mind. While the guests enjoyed the food and the various cocktails, we wandered around the venue after the rain died down to do intimate portraits. 

Such a beautiful moment as the bride and her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority sisters gathered together to sing their beloved AKA hymn.
