JENNIFER + ARTHUR | Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Session

Jennifer and Arthur’s love for one another has been destined from the beginning as they traveled from Connecticut to Brooklyn for their Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session.

Before Arthur and Jennifer’s Brooklyn Bridge park engagement session took place. Many years ago before these two lovebirds first met as teenagers at Cornell University. Let’s fast forward to Saturday, June 6, 2015, how ironic would it be that at the last minute. Jennifer and Arthur both decided to attend Cornell’s Sesquicentennial (150th) celebration and the Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA) Reunion in Ithaca, NY.

Jennifer was traveling from Arizona. As Arthur was traveling back from a friend’s wedding that evening in New Jersey. They both gathered together at the “sweatbox. That evening after dancing for some time, Jennifer and Arthur found themselves talking non-stop and reconnecting with each other.

After the weekend, Jen returned to Arizona to finish out her final year of medical school. Their first date took place at Tao Downtown in New York City. And their second date took place at Pier 115 located in Edgewater, NJ in which during mid-conversation, Arthur kissed Jennifer!

On Friday, June 17, 2016, Arthur surprised Jennifer with an elaborate engagement in Paris, the city of love. Her cousin Eleonore, who was living in Paris at the time. She helped Arthur organize the special day. Which consisted of a few special surprise guests included Jennifer’s brother Patrick, her nephew Caleb and her best friend Adepero!

Be sure to stay tuned this June on the 17th day of the month. As Jennifer and Arthur’s love story continues. They are surrounded by their loving family and closest friends. As they become husband and wife at the Marquand Chapel at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
